Just wanted to let anyone know who might be interested that I have been able to run Registax 6 on a Mac with OsX 10.8.2 using a free program called Wineskin. Wineskin allows you to run Windows programs (at least some of them) without actually having Windows. You install Registax into a "wrapper" which you can natively on Ma. It appears as an icon in your finder or dock just like any other program would. It took just a little bit of trial and error (not more than 45 minutes though).

One problem I had was to convert the .mov movie file into a format that RegiStax would accept. All the avi or mpg files I made with software on the Mac, RegiStax would not accept. What ended up working was exporting the mov file as a bmp image sequence using quicktime 7 pro, which I had already, but is otherwise $30 to purchase. Registax has worked for me very well so far.

Try using PIPP , it now deals with .mov files and readies them for Reg.
