Give the people something they want to see, and they'll line up for it.
In this case, it was the crescent Moon last night at the George Observatory in Brazos Bend State Park. Later that night we had nice views of Jupiter and Saturn.
I had originally planned to bring my AP, but since the forecast was a bit iffy, I didn't want to load up all that gear. The Q and Tristand is a much lighter load.
