I just picked a Quantum 4 with a tripod, I am trying to determine the brand of the tripod, the whole set up is just to heavy for me and I am going to have to sell it, but need to make sure I list the right information. I think it is the Davis Sanford tripod offered by OTI but not positive, the logo label on it is worn off. I have looked at old OTI brochures but there are no photos.

Thank You

the knobs on that tripod look just like a davis and sanford tripod i had...mine had the spring loaded center column
and you had to hold on when releasing knob or you would send
your instrument flying like a bottle rocket.

Brian, thank you for the info, no springs on this one. Has pan tilt locking head, rising center post, and what looks to be the custom made plate for the Quantum 4 even has a hole for the power cord. Quantum fits perfectly on it...

I see saw your list of gear. Quite impressive!!!

Mirror, I took this last night with lights on in the house. Anything that looks like a flaw is due to light reflections.

Thanks guys. I found out the tripod is the Davis & Sanford Tripod with an adapter plate that sold with the Quantum-4 from OTI...
