SN in NGC 6343 Her

A new type Ia supernova discovered 3 days ago @ ~mag 16 in NGC 6343 some 2 degrees due south of M92 globular cluster in the "Head of Hercules". My first shot tonight through thin cloud below so hope to do better soon :grin:

About mag 16 eg discovery mag but should get brighter :o

Here's a somewhat better pic of SN still ~mag16 under clear skies but with bright gibbous moon :p
