I will ask in this forum, Is there a short Pier
for the LXD-75 mount?
The stock mount is a bit short for my refractor on it.
Has anybody built one?
thanks

I use a SVP pier extension from Orion on my LXD75 and it works great! There is an alignment tab on the pier that you need to file down, other than that it fits fine.

Good post. I was just thinking of building an extension for my LXD-75 as well. Objects at Zenith are in the danger zone of scraping the OTA with the tripod leg. I'll check out the SVP. Thanks!

This isn't the best picture, but I think that it is the only one I have with my LXD75 AR6 up on its pier extension.
