Has this been confirmed by anyone in the meteorite community yet? No offense to Yale, but I am always a little skeptical of these expert opinions. They didn't say exactly who examined it or what their qualifications were. I hope it's real. :)

I may not be a scientist but that looks like an authentic OC to me!

Hi,

I just got back from visiting with the Becks. They have a beautiful new meteorite. It broke into 2 main pieces on its journey through there roof and ceiling. Mr Beck graciously gave me the crumbs I was able to find on the floor in their living room.

Thanks,

Peter

Great report and photos Peter! I think it's safe to say that you will be one of the few to have this fall in their collection. And the impact marks on that oh so fresh crust are fantastic.

Well then, that's more than good enough for me! Nice job Peter! :waytogo:

Did they mention what they plan to do with the meteorite? Keep it? Sell it? Donate it? Just curious. :)
