This is my second time trying to image the moon. I only got a single shot before, but now I was able to stack some images.

Before I could not get the moon in frame, so I cheated by taking the diagonal out of my telescope and mounting the DSLR right to the back of my Mak.

I used backyard EOS and stuck with taking images as that's what I knew, I'll try AVI's or MOV's later. This is 80% of 120 or so, then I pre-processed them using PIPP - Planetary Imaging Pre-Processor.

Normally Registaxx would (or really my PC) would have choked on dealing with huge RAW files, but PIPP fixed that.
PIPP allowed me to crop, made all the images the same brightness, and several other very useful things before I stacked the best of 80% more in Registaxx.

Post processing done with +GIMP.

Well done Jason.

Focus looks really good and there are no blown out edges (over exposed) anywhere.
