Another outcome from last year's trip to Namibia...
The Widefield image processing was to enhance the Bluish reflection nebula.
The zoomed image is a new processing to emphasize the subtle dark lanes in the core.

I hope you will like them!

Super, reminds me of Neil Fleming's style. Really bold and exciting Kfir. Photoshop, PixInsight, a bit of both? Thanks!

Very nice. Think it the best I've seen at that aperture. Resolution is very good.

Must be nice to have it high in the sky. Scrapes the wall of my observatory here unfortunately. Doubt a trip to Namibia is left in these old bones.

Excellent image Kfir, the large version, shrunk to 50% in my browser, looks spectacular!

I was going to mention the picture in Astronomy Magazine also! Congratulations Kfir!
You should post up a link to a hi res version of that one for us to look at. The pic in the magazine I think doesn't do it justice. :)

Truly a spectacular rendering, Kfir. Must be one of the finest I've seen.

Keep it up!

Hi Kfir,
that's a truly great image.
There is so much detail in the dusty areas of the nebula
& the blue areas also have detail.
That is perfectly processed.

well done

cheers
Allan

Again - Thank you for your kind words

Regarding the image in Astronomy magazine - the colors didn't come out correctly...
So here is the original image:
