What would cause an intermittent Error code 16 or 17? This is recent. I have to hit "undo" to get it back communicating. It has happened the last 2 nights. It will not cause me to lose my alignment. Thanks.

Hey Jim, from all I read the easiest way to trouble shoot it is a power problem; spread power pin on scope or verify power supply is good and rock steady

As dragonslayer1 says check the power supply. Another problem I have had are the pins and connectors from the handset to the scope and to the dec housing. Replacing the connector on the wire end solved mine. Good luck

I've had this occur several times, and it was just a bad power connection at the scope.
