Saturday night go out to do another sketch of Jupiter. I am amazed how much the views change from night to night. Also go a view of Saturn although quite low and a bit wavy in the eyepiece. I believe I saw some festoons on Jupiter which I tried to add to my sketch. I moved from about 150X to 240X in my 8 inch reflector. I wish I knew how to rate seeing. It was clear but some turbulence. If anyone has a resource on seeing I would like to learn more. Hope this one doesn't look like an egg.

Thank You Frank and Andre,
Any recommendations on books for Planetary or Lunar. I am amazed at the Planetary detail Paul Abel and David Gray give. Andre with the Sun and Frank with the Moon. I really look up to all you guys. I understand its experience but I would like to learn more about observing from a visual standpoint. Thanks again Frank for the Seeing scale that helps.
