Should I set my alarm?

I've got it listed as "9:19AM Alt 32 AZ 227" (For Tucson)
but there doesn't seem to be much traffic on these at all this year

Well I was out at 05:20 AM and didnt get it, unless a few hours made a big difference (wasn't actually looking for it, first chance to have clear skies).
Was a slight haze in the sky but better then clouds.

Please remember if the image is not your own and if it is from an ad it is not yours, you can only post a link to the image and not the Image itself. Just so you are aware of CN's image posting guidelines.

Save the image to a URL and post it as a link. If the original image of it is not yours than it would be in violation of the TOS to post a copy of it on CN.

I think it would be a very interesting photo. I hope you can figure a way to share it.

Here's a close-up photo comparison I put together quite a few years ago. As explained in the accompanying text, the east side of the formation slopes downward towards the east, and definitely looks like it will simply vanish as the sunset terminator slowly pours over the formation. Maybe some day I'll try for a sunset image taken at night, instead of in the daytime.  ;)
