but there doesn't seem to be much traffic on these at all this year

Please remember if the image is not your own and if it is from an ad it is not yours, you can only post a link to the image and not the Image itself. Just so you are aware of CN's image posting guidelines.

Save the image to a URL and post it as a link. If the original image of it is not yours than it would be in violation of the TOS to post a copy of it on CN.
I think it would be a very interesting photo. I hope you can figure a way to share it.

Here's a close-up photo comparison I put together quite a few years ago. As explained in the accompanying text, the east side of the formation slopes downward towards the east, and definitely looks like it will simply vanish as the sunset terminator slowly pours over the formation. Maybe some day I'll try for a sunset image taken at night, instead of in the daytime.

And here are the predictions for the Sun at 1.5 degrees

You can interpolate for angles in between but it's about 0.5 degrees per hour.

Ed, you meant those are predictions for reverse Lunar X, right????
