Man weather is beautiful since over a week. Weekend will be magnficient too. Tomorrow, friday, its supposed to be clear from sunrise to sunset, so I'll be able to sketch it before or after my dayshift.

Andre,
Another fine sketch. I was showing the sunspots to one of my daughters friends yesterday with a sun funnel. She was amazed that the sun had spots. Emma then told her how the Sun changes every day and how she looks at your sketches. Your sketches have taught my 6 year old about the Sun and how it changes.

Ken

I showed the sun to several familly members today may 4th, conditions were extremely calm, details beautiful. All along the St-Laurence river, the transparence is ranging from 4/5 to 5/5 and same for the seeing from friday to monday. Incredible weekend.

And during the observation guess who was my most interested observer watching the sun several times ? A 6 or 7 years old girl which already own a telescope named Eva... Funny no. Emma and Eva.

I did a close up sketch live and she was really impressed to see me drawing and compare in the scope after I was done. She now will follow my observations of the sun on astro-quebec, a french forum.

A bit late, but nevertheless also compliments from me for this drawing. Even though I haven't reacted to all of your posts, I truly appreciate your work very much. To be honest, I find it difficult to write something every day because I always want to say something "original". So sometimes I lack inspiration. ;) But that doesn't mean that I've forgotten about your drawings...

Hi all

It seem I'm late too in my response. Thank you all. Thank you Peter. Don't worry, it's really appreciated.

Yesterday I finally completed treating 12 of my latest sketches since this one. Later in the evening, I'll post them. Weather have been extraordinary here for the last 6 days and nice action. Now it's cloudy.

So stay tuned for great action...
