Here's a shot of Saturn and four of its moons I took around 2am this morning.

It's actually a composite of two separate images. Each is the result of several minutes of video recorded with SharpCap and processed with AutoStakkert, Astra Image Pro, and Photoshop. One image was overexposed to capture the moons. I then overlaid the two images in Photoshop to get this single image.

This is my first time trying to image Saturn's moons, and I'm quite happy with the results, given the aperture limitations I'm working with.

Here's a close-up shot of Saturn in color and black and white, too.

A creditable effort Joel, the wide field worked well with the Moons.

Thanks!

Yes, seeing was excellent yesterday morning, which is rare here in Arkansas.

And you should be very happy with the outcome! The moons turned out to be nice and sharp as well. I was considering on buying an ASI120MC to upgrade from the DBK2104, this definitely helped me making up my mind.

Good result for a 6" (maybe it's a little dark in my opinion)

Thanks for the feedback, everone! Baron, I went back and brightened it a bit and agree it looks better. (By the way, your Jupiter photos are excellent, especially for an 8-inch.)
