I just had my 1972 Questar Seven fully serviced....Came back looking like a new scope! Best service i ever experienced...they also did my 1979 Questar 3.5 Standard and that came back looking like new as well. Next up is my 1959 Standard 3.5....Jim is such a great asset to Questar...very personable and extremely knowledgeable.

Do you happen to have before and after pictures?

Yes, photos would be great!

Please be sure to take some photos of the 1959 model before you send it off, and then when it returns; would be nice to see the physical difference after service.

Good to hear that about their service department. It couldn't be any other but Questar.

I had my 1959 Questar fixed there last year, but mine looked like new when I sent it. It came back looking and working like new. I sent it up there because it wasn't tracking. Works perfect now. I also had the center tripod adapter added to the bottom of it.

Saw this at Telescopes & Stars "The Questar is the only telescope that is suitable for Astronomy, Birding, and use as a long distance Microscope. Three for the price of one!"
