I'm not sure about this post -- but I'll give it try. Let's see if the moderator allows it to stay!! <lol>

I'll be in Israel 8/2 thru 8/25 and would like to connect with amateur astronomers and telescope makers while there.

Please let me know if you're "out there".

Hi! Dennis and I already talked. We know each other from our Ham radio days. I suggested Astron. Are you there, Astron?

You might want to contact Harel Boren and Kfir Simon.

You can check out this forum (post in English as well):
http://forums.nana10...m/?ForumId=2122
and if you can read Hebrew,
http://www.astronomy...il/joomlafimal/ which also lists observing dates and locations.

There was a very good Israel Astronomy Forum, but I've lost the bookmark and can't find it.
Clears,

Hey, Dennis. Are you still here? How's the trip going? Sorry we didn't see you in Mitzpe Ramon for the Perseids. They were pretty good, especially after midnight on the 13th. Over 7,000 people attended the Mitzpe Ramon star party!
