I just saw this youtube vid that I thought would be of interest here. It is a brief and amusing demonstration of virtual star parties, something that I think will become huge in the near future. I do not present this as an advertisement of any product. It made me smile and I hope you also enjoy it.

The Google Hang-outs can be really fun. I've also seen guys who share on NSN as they're doing 'real' AP. NSN is really clutch when the weather is bad... it's nice to get an astro-fix from time to time.

I registered for a virtual star party for tomorrow (Sunday) and going to a physical star party tonight! I'm expecting it will be fun to hang out with astronomers in both places. Double fix this weekend! :dob:
