You can get knee pads at Astromart...or swords.......

Or ultra-high-powered laser range-finding sword sites. Hey, can we use those for telescopes?

Yea, but a big dob is a pretty heavy light saber handle.......now the ETX80 model light sabre is very easily weilded....it's pretty underpowered though, kneepads provide adequate protection from it......

Well I zoomed in with Google maps satellite image, and I think I can see a brand new Astro-Physics mount sitting on the clearance rack outside the building! Please wait while I mail them an envelope stuffed with $100 bills. I think they'll accept it in lieu of wire transfer.

Do you think this one would be OK as a starter AP scope for my light polluted suburb? Their price looks cheap enough, isn't it?

...A friend who lives in Bali Indonesia called the phone number on the web site, they got somebody who knew nothing about telescopes, and who did not know the sale-telescope name.

He visited the address in Jakarta listed on the site, and saw this: Gramedia Building (a Book Store).
...
So stay far, far away.

Many thanks for this confirmation in the field.
Thanks your friend or all potential byuers that will avoid from now this so-called vendor.

Note that when you order something, the page does not even swtich to a secure page. It is simply written in php !!!

According to IceinSpace forum, the owner of Sale Telescopes bank account is "Putra Jaya".

If there is a fraud, scam, for hundreds or thousands of $$, there must be a way to put him in trial, no ?

I found a $2000 chainsaw on Craigslist for 500. I responded and the "seller" referred me to a very looking official website where I checked and "ordered" (but not paid for)a 100 of these saws. It was obviously a complete and total scam complete with claimed BBB triple A rating!

If it is to good to be true AND does not match the market for availability of items you have to know it is a scam.
