I had the scope ready, but the intense warm air flow was creating multiple layers of clouds. The crescent could barely be seen. So, the overall scene and the weather forecast for the central and eastern US became the launch point for the story around the quick sketch. The blog link is under my signature. There is religious content.

Nice work. I took this picture last night from Cape May NJ after a storm rolled through, I always marvel at the power and beauty,

Thanks for the comments. The storms wre not too bad where we were, but the heavens re-appeared just like clockwork about 24 hours after the front actually passed.
