Does anyone have any particular websites they would like to suggest for lunar observations that are good?

Here are a few more worthy sites:

http://www.lpi.usra.edu/

http://ser.sese.asu.edu/GHM/

http://www.shallowsky.com/moon/

http://moonscience.y...atest-moons.php

http://www.lunar-occ...ota/iotandx.htm

http://www.lunar-occ...o/rays/rays.htm

This site - http://www.inconstantmoon.com/ - hasn't been updated in years but still contains a lot of useful information.

If one prints out the PDF file and have it bound, here's how it would look like:

I have hosted a download mirror of Alan's fine book (through several editions to the last) on my website since 2007. North American users may find this link faster than Alan's link.

I'd also (highly) recommend the Cambridge Photographic Moon Atlas, which Alan co-authored with Wolfgang Paech and Mario Weigand. It represents the final iteration of Alan's Moonbook project.
