Messier 56 is an old globular cluster in the constellation of Lyra that is often overlooked because of more spectacular neighbors M13 and M57.

This was shot from my driveway in suburban Philadelphia with a full moon up, with no filters.

Modified Canon 550D through a C11 edge and a stack of 15 x 3 minute exposures at ISO 400 at f/10.

See, you can shoot deepsky under such conditions!

Great image during the supermoon Jerry. I imaged the same cluster at 480mm, amazing what the extra 2400mm in focal length can do...:)
