Hit the mother lode today. Found an estate sale with lots of astronomy items. I offered them $195 for the whole lot

Nice haul. Estate sales are an unfortunate thing...but from the looks of it, who ever it was went happy. If I'm gonna go, I hope it's leavin a stash like that.

Looks good... but for future reference, the expression is "mother lode", as in mining.

Cool...The Ultimas are nice... I read this post while watching back-to-back episodes of American Pickers--quite fitting!

To make matters worse (or better, depending on how you want to look at it)

I am picking up these items as part of a package deal set next weekend.

Orion Superwides (re-badged Vixen LVW)
5mm

Konig MK-70 25mm
Konig MK-70 40mm
Plosl 7mm
Plosl 12.5mm

plus the stock 90 and eyepieces that came with a LX200.

I may be selling them once I get everything sorted out and figure out what I want to keep. They are nice eyepieces from everything I have read.
My goal is to sell enough to buy the new Denk BINOTRON-27 Super System for SCTs

Those Konigs are somewhat rare, aren't they? And nice Pelican with padded dividers housing all those beautiful Lantanum Superwides.

Yes, they seem very rare. I dont know if that means they are good or bad yet.

Sorry to lock this thread but based on the number of "PM'S SENT" it hits me as an obvious solicitation of eyepieces for sale within the forum which is outside the TOS.
