The comet is low in the northeast just clearing tree tops.
A bright nucleus and some coma showing in the image.
5 X 3 minute at ISO 800 / mono D5100 with MPCC
PowerNewt at F 4.0

Lemmon's coma was concentrated and round like an unresolved globular cluster, but had an off-center stellar pseudonucleus. A faint cyan tinge was visible in the inner coma. Coma diameter was about 3.5'. A very faint, fuzzy tail was visible to the SSW, no more than 10' in length. Sketch: http://skytour.homes...12F6-130706.jpg

The comet has faded somewhat since July 07. It still is
showing as a green fuzz ball in images as can be seen by
my wide field image taken on July 15.
