Tooling around the Great Smoky Mountains flea market yesterday, I found some 60x60 Bushnell binoculars with over 3 degrees TFOV! That means that the 190 degree AFOV eyepieces that we've always wanted are now here! YAY! Bushnell > Televue > Explore Scientific

From the looks of it, they even have long eye relief!

I'd be surprised if these are really Bushnell branded binoculars at all.

The "60x60" makes me think these are one of many counterfeit Chinese "Bushnell" binos that have been popping up for some years now on auction sites particularly.

I hope they were a bargain! ;)

I've been looking for something good like that. Now
I can get rid of my scope.

How is the view? I missed that part.

Ahhhh...something is very wrong here. It is physically quite impossible to have a true 3-degree field of view (or anything like that) at 60x, the magnification implied by the printing on the binoculars. Either the magnification, or the FOV at 1000 yards, is incorrect. Sorry.

They were $20, but I figured that my money would be better spent on lead contaminated/laden bras from the same shop. And I didn't even look thru them, as I knew that if I did, I'd be selling all of my scopes and binoculars due to the sheer awesomeness radiating from these. Oddly enough, "Bushnell" wasn't anywhere on the boxes that these were in...

I think they're 60x60 because they have 60x in the left eye, and 60x in the right eye as well! :jump:

Thanks for posting that, really made me laugh.

Wouldn't that make them 120X?
