I tried SharpCap beta version and the QHY version. Both were crashy and, as far as I could tell, did not do long exposure despite being able to set such an exposure. Maxlm DL version 5 may but I only have version 4. Is there a way to get Maxlm DL to recognize the ASCOM driver for the camera? Is there some other software that would work? Thanks

Dwight I use FireCapture and it works well. and of course EZplanetary.(qhy)
I find that a good usb-2-3 type cable helped a lot for crashes....and the latest software drivers from QHY.

Thanks Bob. I did download the ASCOM camera driver. I should check if it is in ProgramFiles/CommonFiles/Drivers. If it is Maxim ver 4 should pick it up.
