I saw this SETI talk from last year, Derek Sears, Origins of Chondrites and Chondrules.

Rather interesting stuff
Origins of Chondrites and Chondrules - Derek Sears

What do you think, is chondrules formed by impacts ?

Derek doesn't talk about his views about the oxidation problem. Anybody have any insights about this?

Lars - Thanks for the link-video looks interesting; a rather long video (1H 17M), so I downloaded it and will watch shorter 15 minute segments of it over the next few days.
