Wow, I haven't posted in this section for ages, at least a year! A combination of poor weather and endless astro projects may be responsible for this outcome. This is narrowband M57 from my front doorsteps in Toronto. Nothing special except it was taken with my new 8.5" f/12.5 refractor mounted on a mundane EQ6 and autoguided successfully for 10+ minute subexposures. And the refractor fits in the back of my car (well it is a station wagon/estate) and spent last night at a local star party wowing attendees with Saturn at 600x.

Thanks Alex, finally somebody who appreciates how special this 8.5" refractor really is!

And how how hard it was to pull off M57 with it!
