VDB 136 - rarely imaged yellow nebula
Posted 19 July 2013 - 09:36 AM
May be Rick J could add some info on this target. I guess it's like NGC1555 - T-Tauri class star?
The image looks a bit blurred. This is due to a rather diligent stretch to show the thin film of blueish dust in this region.
Thanks for looking!

Note that it is fairly close to B348 so there are a few images on the net.

your images are great inspiration for wide-field AP.

so what causes a yellow nebula?
looks very reflection-like
perhaps dust in front, and not behind the star
so that the scattering angles are lower?
