Another three lightpolluted sketches from begin July. M11 was a real joy at the EP. I can't garanty that every star is at his right place

M29 was done on a night with really bad transparancy. But he's bright enough. I guess M29 will never be my favorite cluster

And another one from the bad night. But even under less conditions, M39 is a nice one.

Joli Jef ! If there is no garanty, I stop looking at your sketches to discover a new comet,...

Nice sketches!

Try using a bit more power on M-11. It takes power really well and you can see tons of more stars! I use 218x / 22.5' on it with my 10" scope and 5.5mm Meade WP UWA for M-11.

Cheers,

Try using a bit more power on M-11.

In the past I sketched clusters filing the whole FOV. Now I prefer the 1/3-rule somebody (forgot who) told me here on CN (1/3 cluster 2/3 fieldstars). It gives a more "beautiful" sketch.
Ofcourse while observing (without sketching) I try different magnifications.

you can see tons of more stars!

I found the number of stars already enough to sketch ;)
