Thanks Madratter! With the trees around my place I had to wait for it to rise, then ran out of time with the brightening morning sky...

Nice work on both of these Robert, a bit curious on framing of the Melotte feature and the edge of the ionization front but it sure looks nice :)

Thank You!

Well Jim, it's a real simple answer on the framing... That's where autostar placed it and I went with it. In truth, I thought of reframing but decided I liked the effect getting the low point of the heart. it was 180 degrees but I flipped it in post.

Thank You Warren, Shawn and Terry!

I'm working 4 X 10 currently and have missed a lot of decent sky. Fortunately I was able to cash in on Friday night. The jury is still out on Saturday nights results(shooting some flats now). Even if the sky was good tonight, I can't stay up...85 mile commute at 4am to start the work week

So I'm not sure if I'd call this just for fun, but, I ran my QHY9 last night just to remind myself how much I love the Quantix camera. The color is from the QHY and the Ha was dontated by the Quantix.

Thank You Madratter. That last image is a really good example of the difference in sensor size between an 8300 and the 6303E. The original H-a image is uncropped, and the color image(wich shows the field size of the 8300) is only trimmed of at the very edge. Both through the AT6RC @ f/9... I need a shorter scope for the smaller sensor to get a profound enough match is field size
