What's the biggest astronomy expo open to the public? Like rows of booths from vendors Orion and Tele Vue, astronomy lectures and evening product demonstrations? Comics people have Comic-Con, video gamers have E3, and do we have an equivalent?

I'd love to attend to learn and try out all the gear I read about!

There is definitely nothing like Comic-Con in amateur astronomy. Likely the largest astro expo is NEAF, held annually in Suffern, NY each spring.

Besides NEAF, there is also the new-and-upcoming Arizona show, which is being run by Alan Traino, the guy who single-handedly made NEAF into a great success.

I am only going to one show this year and this is the one.

I'm looking forward to attending that show this fall.
