Well, this is my first attempt. I used a Cannon 3T on my CPC800 at prime focus. The 60 sec .avi file was shot in my backyard in a Yellow zone.
I used Registax5 to process the image. It took a couple of tries to get a finished product that I liked.

Wow, where was Saturn when you got this WRT the horizon? Nice capture, I'm impressed - it looks almost like through my new Dob :)

Very nice. I have not been able to get one that good with my DSLR. However, my QHY5L-II mono guide camera is a killer planetary camera. I am tempted to get LRGB filters for it just for planetary. This one was taken with my XT8.

I am tempted to get LRGB filters for it just for planetary.

Saturn was about 31 degrees above the horizon when this was taken.
