I use a modified 60D. There are also some shot before modification on my site. It is a great camera IMHO.

Cheers!

Here`s a recent shot of NGC-7000 i took with my Modified 60D.
I`ll most likely tweak the processing a bit at some point.

The 60D is a great camera. Canon uses it for their astro camera (60Da). A modified 60D is even better and cheaper! :)

Modified 60D is hands down down the best APS-C model available, there is little reason NOT to get one..
And being it will beat a 60Da(which costs $1399!!!), by a very large margin IMHO, there should be little to debate between the two... ;)

Good luck!

Agreed. If I were buying a new camera today, the 60D currently on sale and a modification would be my first choice.
