Pluto last night

I usually target Pluto annually and last night was that successful occasion for me [below] very low in Sagittarius on the southern meridian between trees. Confirmed against Wikisky and subsequent internet image taken 48hrs earlier. Done and dusted - no hope of visually with my eyes and the low altitude :grin:

Congrats! I've been trying visual but so far this year no joy. Got it last year. It's a dim one for sure.

That's a really nice photo! I have never seen pluto, and never tried. I hope to try it when my new scope comes...

Very nice image of Pluto. Do you about what magnitude Pluto was when you took your picture?

nice catch--one solar system target that I have not bothered to track down yet. boy it's pretty dim!
