Hi everyone,

Here's an image I took on the evening of August 15, 2013 with the moon near first quarter.

I processed the image for contrast. Camera=ZWO ASI120MM
and a Lumincon light red filter to pass a bit more light.
FireCapture and Registax 6.

Very nice! I have a photo taken with similar equipment, same phase from several months ago that is almost identical to it.

It turns out I had another capture on the same night! Here's my version of the scene
(CPC 1100@f/10, ASI 120MM, IR-UV cut and red filters, 400 of 4000 frames stacked in AS!2, L-R deconv. in AI 3.0, light HDR toning and cosmetic adjustment in PS)

Great shot Ross!

The seeing wasn't quite as good as I would have liked and the moon was rather low for me here in Pennsylvania. Also I have a new computer that doesn't yet have all my old programs on. Struggling my way around Windows 8...
