I'm working on our library's dome. I need to replace the rollers which are attached to the bottom of the shutter and roll on the top of the dome when opening and closing. The rollers are hard plastic 1" in diameter with a 1/4" diameter threaded shaft about 1/2" long. They have small ball bearings as well. Seems all the rollers I find are 7/8" or 1 1/8-1/4" in diameter but not 1".

Any ideas? Thanks, Ron

P.S. - the company who made the dome is out of business so no luck there.

Ron,
How many do you need? Does the shutter roll up over the dome as opposed to the side? Can you show us a picture of them?
I might be able to make you some but I would like to see one
before I commit to doing it.
Regards
Norm

Hi Norm - thanks very much for getting back to me on this. The shutter rolls up over the top of the dome. I'll get some pictures to you tomorrow so you can take a look. I'll need six rollers. Thanks again, Ron
