I would appreciate it if someone who owns a TRI36L and is willing to supply me with dimensions of the tripod could contact me via PM. It looks like production of these fine tripods is over and I would like to create something for myself along the same lines, though assuredly not anywhere as good.

I'd be interested in this as well. Did Rob say he isn't producing them anymore or did you find it somewhere?

I thinkbit is assumed based on Rob's lack of communication with the outside world lately. Hope he's OK.

That's really a shame; from everything I've read these were wonderful tripods and much lighter than anything else on the market of similar rigidity.
