I currently attach the clamshell from my TV102 with a AVT 1011 adapter to a vixen clamp on my Ayo mount (old vixen bar held by a big set screw in the clamp)

Now that I am about to order the new Ayo ii with encoder I was wondering if there is any value in terms of stability to get a Losmandy bar for the TV clamshell and a corresponding Losmandy clamp for the mount (or keep the AVT 1011 bar and the Berlebach clamp that takes it)

I use my scope with binoviewers and plossl so probably looking at 5 kg total weight of ota and accessories.

Definitely go with Losmandy-style upgrade...the clamping geometry is more secure.
