These last couple of nights I've been unstoppable! :D Here's my latest work: the lovely fireworks galaxy. The first thing that struck me was this "eye" in its centre, as if the nucleus is surrounded by dark dust, making it look like a pupil. I could only see two of the spiral arms and for the rest some faint nebulosity under the nucleus. So not a lot of details, but then again this galaxy is rather faint.

Thank you so much Jef, Frank, André, Michel and Tamás! Very much appreciated! :D

Since I've started doing courses on deep-sky sketching, I'm not going to reveal everything here. But if you browse my posts, you'll see that I already gave away a lot of my little secrets... ;)

Cheers,

Peter
