Home from Florida and every night for the past week has been cloudy. Some clearing last night so I tried NGC 6910 in Cygnus with and 8.8 Meade Ultrawide lens on my 8" Dobsonian. Done just before yet another cloud band crossed this part of the sky,

A real beauty, Randolph! The open clusters in CYG are a real challenge because there always seems to be an infinite amount of stars in the FOV that it's making you dizzy at a certain point. Very well done!

Randolph,

The open cluster looks very nice in your sketch. We need enough clear nights to get our direct viewing and sketching fix.

Frank :)

Oh yes, the Rocking Horse cluster with its mesmerizing yellow eye, one of my personal favourites. Thanks for sharing your sketch, it looks very very accurate!

Thanks all for encouraging words. I am trying to get more acclimated to deep sky sketching ( lunar was my "thing" ).
Tried another Cygnus open cluster last night but gave up after all the milky way field stars made my head spin!
