This is the most satisfying observing I've done lately. Quite tasty...

Welp. Gunna have to try THAT beer now! Simply because it has a telescope and the word planet in the name. Where can I find this magic juice?

Here in Phoenix I picked it up at Sprout's Market, a local chain of organic grocery stores. If you have a large adult beverage retailer in your area, like Total Wine & More or BevMo, I'd check them to see if they carry it.

And it is a good porter Wes. I think it's a seasonal beer too, since I don't see it around here all of the time.

Connecticut's actually been ok with seeing not seeming any worse than 7 Pickering in July and August with periods of 9 . I can't really complain.

Ouch! Sorry to hear it. But hey, at least the observing situation is looking up! For both of us! I'm heading out tomorrow night as well. Let me know what you discover with your Sky Safari troubleshooting.

Oh, and PM me your address if you want one of those porters before i finish them off... ;)

Except now Boulder, CO is now considering calling itself Atlantis...cause it's mostly under water...

Same clouds, different weekend...

I hope that everything's as OK as it can be up there in CO!!!

Here's the prediction for my Saturday night observing site. Well, nearby anyway. I'm actually heading out to the KOFA National Wildlife Refuge a few clicks southwest of this spot. The only issue is the Moon, but it sets right around midnight and I am NOT complaining. Even the seeing is looking awesome after moonset...

Tell you what. When I'm finished with my clear Saturday night skies, I'll send them your way. I hope I don't wear them out too thinly.
