Is there a document on the web that will give me the complete function tree for the AVX mount? I would like to know the advanced features available when using the Celestron Logo (Option) key. They are not specified in the manual.

Thanks!

The Logo key doesn't do pea-turkey. It's supposedly for "future expansion."

There is a command tree in the manual, which can be downloaded from Celestron's website.

I searched for a long time for the "sync" function and found it playing with the Logo Key and the other keys.

Yep, you can do that. I was letting my dislike for the Plus hand control get to me. The logo key can be used in combinations with other keys--but it doesn't do anything new AFAIK.

The main problem? The VX is a great mount, but the manual is one of the least helpful Celestron has ever produced, and that is saying something. ;)

Anyhoo, I believe Sync is also still available from the Align button.

I really like the mount.
I really dislike the manual.

Thanks for your replies, Ron.

Would the manual for another mount, e.g., the CGEM, be useful?

I assume this is for me, RoD... ;)

I believe Mike Swanson's guides and pages are more useful than any of them:
