I can't wait to try it. I'm right in the middle of perfecting polar alignments and guiding before moving on to stacking. I also read through the complete processing guide, except for a few areas that may need clarification, it is just what I was hoping for: a step by step instructional guide that even I can follow. Once I get to the post processing level I will have to decide which program to go with. I've heard good things about PixInsight and its not as costly as Photoshop, correct? Any differences in ease of use between them?

Thanks for your efforts,I really appreciate it.

The user interface in Pixinsight is just plain irritating. The program is still undeniably the most flexible and powerful astrophotography processing tool and that is the reason why the UI is so baffling.

Ask in the imaging forum and you will get plenty of feedback about it.

For some reason I wasn't allowed to download the program. Tried downloading CCDOps and a window popped up indicating the program has been discontinued. Could it be because I have a 32 bit and not 64 bit computer?

It is currently supported and downloadable. The correct link is http://www.sbig.com/support/software/ .
