I saw the very end of the event. I was setting up my equipment and just happened to look up over my shoulder. At first I thought it was a plane heading south, but it faded out in a split second. I live in the Ozarks, north central Arkansas, just south of the Missouri border. I meant to look for it when I finished observing, but my night lasted until morning and I forgot about it. From my location there seemed to be a good number of bright meteors - but I only noticed them just around and after sunset - not through the night.
