Hi Gents,

after a long time, building up my new remote observatory.
If you like, please take a look here:

http://www.darkforce.../5/30_Buildi...

http://www.darkforce....de/Remote.html

I would like to post here my first pic from the new spot.
Now I have really dark skies to get also the faint stuff.
So I've decided to give the dust area surrounding NGC281 without any support from Narrowband Filter Technique a try.

Image Data:
NGC281
FSQ106 EDX III @ F5
AP Mach1 GTO CP3
QSI583wsg
Astronomik LRGB
Date:02,04,05,06/09/13
L = 18x1200s
R = 8x1200s 1x1
G = 9x12 00s 1x1
B = 9x1200s 1x1
apprx. ~14,66h

Pic without any Narrowband support. It is a real LRGB !!

The spikes are made with Noel's Star Spike Pro.

Hope you like it a bit and thanks for looking.

Best Regards

Nice setup and nice first light. Nothing like pounding out images while you sleep, in dark skies no less. Congrats and looking forward to more.

Hi Immo,

Congratulation to your 'First Light', looks like you found yourself a nice and dark spot in the Black Forest.

Your image is quite remarkable, a really deep image of the Pacman, with a lot of very faint nebulosity becoming visible.

Looking forward to see more images in the near future,
Gerhard
