I just ordered a Meade MAX 20" ACF scope. I currently have a NexStar 8se with a few eyepieces.

@astronomy, are you talking about the Meade or the NexStar? I think they're both amazing! I can testify to the NexStar, and have read and been told about the Meade. Can't wait to have the Meade shipped!

WOW! From a 8SE to that... That's probably one of the worst cases of aperture fever I've ever seen. :)

Congratulation on being both physically in great shape and also with a checkbook large enough to pay even the shipping for the darn thing...

Gosh I paid less for my current home .(in the late 1960's) then these scopes sell for today...big scope big bucks and you need to be big too.

Seriously one heck of a scope...wow CONGRATULATIONS
