No AP here just reliable GOTO, decent tracking fairly solid. Payload is about 5 lbs.

Thanks in advance.

I like my iOptron smartEQ. Has either a 40mm PST or 80mm ST80 on it, works like a charm. Lightweight, can haul the mount, tripod, and payload outside with one hand. Can't beat that.

The iOptron Smart EQ Pro would be a nice mount for your OTA if it's not to long. What is the focal length? I have an iOptron zEQ 25 that would also be great at about twice the price of the Smart EQ. Have to use 2 hands to carry the z25...

I've seen used CG5-GTs for under $500. You have a good mount with way more capacity than you currently need, but that gives you a lot of diversity in your choice of OTAs.

Heck, you could get one of the $179 Costco NexStar 90GT GOTO scopes for this year and have that capability and a 90mm OTA thrown in for free.
