Hi all,

Very good seeing on this October afternoon and conditions allowed the sunspots to show vividly in Ha. Unusual in my experience anyway. A good prom in the NW with a small filaprom curling over the limb was a nice bonus too.

Hello Mel,

These solar sketches look wonderful. There really is much difference between the white light view and the H-alpha view which makes for the need of both when sketching the sun.
