[image][/image] I am planning to upgrade from a 12" Meade to a 14" LX200 ACF. I'd like to continue using my existing chemical tank roll off cover that houses the 12" but I can't find any specific dimensions about height in the Meade literature.

Could anyone advise on what the overall height of the tube/alt az mount is when the tube is pointing straight up?

thanks

John

I had to build my observatory with 7' walls for the 14" (with piggybacked 120mm refractor) would clear the roof in the horizontal position. (I do use a Superwedge, that may bear on it some.)

I just measured mine (in Alt / Az) and come up with 44". It's the older model, not the ACF.
