I'm looking about buying EQ mount and have decided to go with below products. I understand that Celestron CG5-ASGT lacks some bells and whistles like polaris alignment scope etc. But no matter which mount I end up with, I'll be buying one of the Orion mini Autoguiding setup. I can find some good used CG5 mounts in the range of $400 on this forum. If I am pairing it with autoguider I can let buy a used CG5 and save some dollars from buying ZeQ25 or Sirius EQG.

Is my understanding completely wrong?

With the CG-5 you don't need polar scope, is all done thru handset ASPA, all star polar align, Kasey

I recently got a ZEQ25 specifically to replace a CG5 as an auto-guided imaging platform.

The ZEQ25 is easily superior to the CG5 for that use. If you can afford the ZEQ25 then go for it.

As for the ZEQ25 vs Sirius - I have not myself used the sirius but I would expect it to perform well given it's design similarities to the Atlas. The choice here would be a matter of load capacity in my mind (the Sirius, on paper at least, having a higher load capacity then the ZEQ25).
