Another lunar sketch of crater Capuanus. Again done on black sketch paper using white and black Conte pastel crayons and sticks. Seeing good, transparency good but with intermittent cloud cover. Omni 120 refractor with a 5mm Plossl. 10 - 10:30 pm EDT.

Many, many thanks...Speaking of collections, I have printed out so many of the beautiful sketches that people have posted here. Some are framed and some in a book. Of course on my computer as well.

Thanks for all the kind comments. To answer your question Jef, I took a photo of the sketch and then used "Bump" to download it to my laptop. The only editing I did was to crop it a bit. Of course I cropped out the label and time which was written with white Conte crayon!!! :shrug: I always finish up with a fixative so I don't smear it.

Pastel craynons give an incredibe range of brightness. Great sketch!
